Job Details
Responsibilities :
Oversee and manage all phases of assigned commercial construction projects, from pre-construction through project closeout.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors and owners to ensure project specifications and timelines are met.
Review and negotiate sub-contracts, manage change orders, and handle any disputes or issues that arise.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors and stakeholders, providing regular project updates and addressing any concerns.
Ensure all project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and daily logs, is accurately maintained and up-to-date.
Manage project financials, including forecasting, billing, and tracking expenses to ensure projects remain profitable.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field of study
5 years of commercial construction experience at a General Contractor
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Project Management in the Construction industry
Prior experience with single-story and 2-story ground-up builds as well as commercial tenant improvements (banking, corporate office, and retail project experience strongly preferred)
Strong project estimating and scheduling skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Project Management Software (AutoDesk), Estimating Software (ProEst), and Scheduling Software (MS Project)
