Job Details
We are seeking a meticulous Final Inspector to perform detailed visual and dimensional inspections of bare printed circuit boards to ensure they meet customer specifications and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of PCB manufacturing processes, attention to detail, and experience in quality inspection.
Key Responsibilities :
- Visual Inspection : Perform final visual inspections of bare PCBs to identify surface defects such as scratches, solder mask issues, misalignments, and contamination.
- Dimensional Verification : Use calipers, micrometers, or other measurement tools to verify board dimensions, hole sizes, and tolerances against engineering specifications.
- Quality Standards : Ensure PCBs meet IPC standards (, IPC-A-600) and customer requirements before shipment.
- Documentation : Accurately record inspection results, including defect details, measurements, and pass / fail status, in quality logs or reports.
- Communication : Report findings to the Quality Assurance team and collaborate to address non-conformance issues.
- Sample Testing : Perform random sampling inspections to verify process consistency.
- Compliance Checks : Verify labeling, serialization, and packaging meet customer specifications.
- Continuous Improvement : Provide feedback on recurring defects or process issues to help improve manufacturing quality.
- Safety Compliance : Adhere to all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized inspection area.
Qualifications :
o1 years of experience in quality inspection in the PCB or electronics manufacturing industry.
oFamiliarity with bare PCB manufacturing processes and IPC standards.
oStrong knowledge of IPC-A-600 standards and ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
oExperience using inspection tools such as microscopes, calipers, and micrometers.
oExcellent attention to detail and ability to identify small defects.
oStrong communication and organizational skills.
oBasic computer skills for data entry and report generation.
