We are on the hunt for a seasoned Senior Cost Estimator. This exciting role will allow you to showcase your expertise in cost estimation and contribute significantly to our projects' profitability and success. You will be a key player in our organization, working closely with our project management team to ensure accurate cost estimation and budgeting. This role will require a high level of technical knowledge, industry experience, and a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities :
1. Conducting detailed cost estimates across all CSI divisions, including quantity take-offs, material price lists, labor costs, and equipment costs.
2. Collaborating with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to gather detailed information necessary for cost estimation.
3. Analyzing blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for products, projects, or services.
4. Presenting estimates and conducting cost comparison analysis to senior management and clients.
5. Tracking changes in design, construction methods, and industry trends to adjust cost estimates accordingly.
6. Preparing cost and expenditure statements and forecasts at regular intervals for the duration of the project.
7. Implementing cost tracking and reporting systems to monitor project costs against budgets.
8. Assisting in the preparation of bids, RFPs, and RFQs.
Qualifications :
1. A minimum of 8 years of experience as a Cost Estimator in the construction industry.
2. Proven experience in estimating costs across all of the CSI divisions.
3. Proficiency in quantity take-offs and cost estimating software.
4. Exceptional analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
5. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
6. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
7. Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
8. A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
9. Professional certification in cost estimation or project management is a plus.
