We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sr. System / Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for managing and enhancing our IT infrastructure in the banking industry. This is an on-site position that requires extensive knowledge and experience in Exchange, SharePoint, SAN, and Azure. You will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems, enhancing system performance, and ensuring high levels of availability and security of our core business applications.
Responsibilities :
As a Sr. System / Cloud Engineer, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to :
Designing, implementing, and maintaining our Exchange, SharePoint, SAN, and future Azure infrastructure.Developing and managing cloud-based solutions that meet the company's requirements.Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and identify solutions.Ensuring the security, integrity, and high availability of all assigned systems and cloud solutions.Troubleshooting and resolving any IT-related issues in a timely and efficient manner.Providing technical support and guidance to junior team members.Keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements to ensure our systems remain current and effective.Participating in disaster recovery and business continuity planning.Creating detailed reports on system status, performance, and planning for senior management.Qualifications :
To be considered for the Sr. System / Cloud Engineer role, you must possess the following :
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the banking industry.Proven experience with Exchange, SharePoint, SAN, and Azure.A deep understanding of cloud technologies and system architecture.Experience maintaining and deploying virtual machines with VMwareStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.A strong understanding of IT security best practices.Experience in disaster recovery planning and execution.A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.Relevant professional certifications such as Microsoft Certified : Azure Solutions Architect Expert or similar would be advantageous.
Salary : $130,000 - $155,000
