Requirements :
- Provide strategic tax planning advice to clients, identifying opportunities for tax savings, minimizing tax liabilities, and ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of complex tax issues, staying up-to-date with the tax laws and regulations to provide clients with accurate and timely guidance.
- Review and supervise the preparation of corporate and partnership tax returns, ensuring precision and compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
- Thorough knowledge of the tax issues facing privately held Corporations, S Corporations and Partnerships, including state tax matters, especially in the areas of tax compliance, tax accounting and consulting services.
- Knowledge of individual tax returns and the interplay of corporate and owner tax regulations.
- Considerable experience identifying and addressing client needs : building, maintaining and utilizing networks of client relationships and community involvement, managing resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing and collections; and preparing and / or coordinating complex written and verbal materials.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. Advanced degree ( Master’s in Taxation) preferred.
- CPA or Member of the Bar.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in corporate and partnership tax, preferably in a public accounting firm.
- Proficiency in tax software and other accounting tools (, CCH Axcess, Thomson Reuters Ultra Tax) is highly desirable.
Salary : $110,000 - $135,000
