About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Summer Intern to join our Transportation Finance Team and perform financial analytics and business cases to support the operation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial analytics and be able to work independently and collaboratively to ensure our systems are functioning efficiently.
Role/Responsibilities:
- Analyze Financial Data: Assess transportation-related financial data, generate reports, and assist with forecasting.
- Support Business Cases: Help develop business cases and conduct cost-benefit analyses for new projects.
- Enhance System Efficiency: Identify and recommend improvements to financial systems and monitor their performance.
- Collaborate: Work with team members and other departments to gather information and support various initiatives.
- Perform Administrative Tasks: Maintain documentation and assist with other finance-related tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Field(s) of study: Finance or Supply Chain
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD Degree program at an accredited university.
- Proof of enrollment in current or into next program (MS, PhD)
- Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and strong analytical abilities.
- Previous finance-related internship or coursework; experience with financial software is a plus.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently or in a team.
- Basic understanding of financial statements; familiarity with the transportation industry is a plus.
Compensation:
The compensation for the position is $26 - $38 per hour.
