Position Overview
We are actively seeking a Small Business Event Networking Sales Executive who excels in face-to-face cold calling, relationship building, and professional networking. In this role, you will lead in-person outreach efforts across Metro Detroit, engaging with small business owners at their locations and during local events, business expos, and community networking functions.
This is a dynamic opportunity for a driven sales professional who understands the power of personal connection and can confidently represent marketing solutions that deliver measurable results. A background in event marketing, advertising, or community business development is helpful but not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-person cold calls and visits to small businesses throughout Metro Detroit.
- Attend and represent the company at local networking events, expos, and community business functions to generate leads and build brand presence.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients through outreach, referrals, and event-based engagement.
- Present tailored advertising and marketing solutions to small business owners, with a consultative and strategic approach.
- Foster long-term client relationships to drive customer retention and upsell opportunities.
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales goals and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless onboarding and execution of client campaigns.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client communications in the CRM system.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of B2B in-person sales experience, including cold calling and face-to-face engagement.
- Strong networking experience, with the ability to build authentic business relationships at events and in the field.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and persuasion skills.
- Highly organized, self-directed, and results-oriented.
- Familiarity with advertising, marketing, or event sales is a plus.
- Must have a reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
Salary : $65,000 - $120,000
