Accountabilities:
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to ensure the accuracy and relevance of key metrics, aligning them with business priorities
- Develop and maintain executive dashboards, KPIs, and data sets to provide real-time financial insights to leadership
- Address complex business challenges by creating clear and actionable financial metrics, supporting decision-making at the highest levels
- Foster a culture of data excellence by promoting best practices for data management and analytics across teams
- Communicate findings effectively, translating complex data into clear insights that drive strategic business decisions
- 3-5 years of experience as a data scientist, preferably in a high-growth startup environment working with leadership teams
- Expertise in Looker Semantic Modeling and BI tools, with the ability to build self-service data sets for the Finance team
- Strong background in financial data analysis, with at least 6 years of experience in data science, analytics, or engineering
- Proficient in SQL and tools like R or Python, with the ability to handle large datasets and maintain data integrity
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Detail-oriented, with a passion for uncovering insights that guide strategic decisions
