As a Sr Accounting Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the monthly and quarterly accounting close process. Accountabilities:
- Prepare and deliver timely and accurate financial reporting for assigned business units and locations
- Analyze financial results, reviewing margin trends and identifying any discrepancies in pricing, costs, and rebates
- Work closely with financial operations teams to adjust erroneous financial data, ensuring accurate receivables or liabilities
- Collaborate with department leadership to ensure financial reporting meets their needs and expectations
- Oversee the accuracy and completeness of expense accounting for assigned areas, including customer incentives, supplier funding, and distribution expenses
- Provide variance analysis for administrative expenses against budget, prior year, and expectations
- Bachelor's Degree with a concentration in Accounting or Finance is required
- At least two years of relevant public or corporate accounting experience
- Strong technical accounting background, including proficiency in GAAP
- Experience with Oracle Hyperion and MS Office Suite is preferred
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial audiences
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently or as part of a team
