Logistics Associate (Medical Supply)

  • Hours / Shift / Days : 8 am - 4 pm, Monday - Friday
  • Expected length : Contract to Hire
  • Location : NYC, NY 10021

Skills / Experience :

  • Effective communication both oral and written
  • Familiarity with Excel / Data entry
  • Supply chain / Healthcare experience

    • Role Overview :

  • Order supplies from vendors and manage software systems like Helios, UPS, Vuetura, and Coupa.
  • Prevent stock-outs by proactively ordering and offering alternatives when items are unavailable.
  • Notify management of supply shortages and suggest cost-saving measures.
  • Verify deliveries, unpack, and distribute supplies accurately and timely to patient floors and clinical areas.
  • Monitor expiration dates and replenish supplies, linens, oxygen tanks, and pantry items daily.
  • Process returns, manage mail distribution, and oversee deliveries using VueturaTrac.
  • Supervise truck deliveries, assign loading bays, and provide necessary unloading equipment.
  • Inspect received items for accuracy and report discrepancies.
  • Collect and transport specimens and time-sensitive materials between locations within set timelines.

    • Key Qualification & Core Skills :

  • Able to optimally communicate.
  • Must be able to work independently and have analytical and problem solving skills.
