We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) with a passion for aesthetics, wellness, and weight loss management to join our team. This is a new program at Well In Montclair, and we’re looking for a dedicated, energetic team member. Position Overview:
We are looking for a part-time Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our multidisciplinary wellness and aesthetics practice. This role combines aesthetic procedures, weight-management support, and patient education, making it ideal for a candidate passionate about holistic patient care. The ideal candidate will perform radiofrequency microneedling treatments, participate in weight-loss consultations, and collaborate with our wellness-focused team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Aesthetic & Wellness Procedures:
- Learn, become certified, and perform non-surgical aesthetic services using BTL equipment (training provided).
- Perform fractional radiofrequency microneedling, radiofrequency dermabrasion, and potentially HIFES (High-Intensity Focused Electromagnetic Stimulation) and radio-frequency AI ultrasound technology for both the face and body.
- Provide services such as body sculpting, skin tightening, muscle toning, skin rejuvenation, and facial treatments.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments prior to treatments and educate them on expected outcomes and aftercare.
- Perform patient consultations, assess needs, and develop personalized treatment plans for both aesthetics and weight loss patients.
- Semaglutide Weight-Management Program:
- Perform wellness services, including hormone replacement therapy (HRT), weight management/GLP-1 (Semaglutide) therapy, and other integrative health treatments.
- Collaborate with a nutritionist and other team members to review patient health histories.
- Provide medical oversight and support for patients considering or undergoing Semaglutide therapy for weight loss.
- Conduct both online and in-person medical consultations for weight loss management.
- Patient Care & Education:
- Offer high levels of patient interaction in a relaxed, patient-focused environment.
- Educate patients on aesthetic treatments, weight-loss options, and wellness plans.
- Maintain a kind, collaborative, and patient-first approach in all interactions.
- Ensure patient safety and satisfaction while adhering to best practices and regulatory standards.
- Collaboration & Teamwork:
- Work closely with the medical director, nutritionists, and aesthetic practitioners.
- Be part of a multidisciplinary team of eight current staff members.
- Potentially expand hours by rotating between Well In Montclair’s practice and a second location offering wellness and aesthetic services.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the state of New Jersey in good standing.
- Experience or interest in women’s health, dermatology, aesthetics, or wellness.
- Willingness to train in microneedling, BTL equipment, and Semaglutide therapy (training provided).
- Strong bedside manner with a patient-first attitude.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary setting.
