We are seeking a detail-oriented Heat Press Operator to join our team. This role involves using a heat press machine to apply various designs, such as names, numbers, and digital transfers, onto garments. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, accuracy, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work Order Interpretation: Read and understand work orders to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Material Preparation: Prepare materials (vinyl, digital graphics, etc.) for the heat press process.
• Heat Press Operation: Operate the heat press machine to adhere vinyl and digital graphics to garments, ensuring high-quality results.
• Inventory Management: Maintain organized stock of film materials and submit restocking orders when necessary.
• Cleanliness and Organization: Keep the work area clean and organized, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Shift Maintenance: Perform routine equipment maintenance at the start and end of each shift to ensure optimal performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Basic Literacy: Ability to read and understand English instructions and work orders.
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with industry-specific terminology and processes.
• Attention to Detail: Ensure designs are applied correctly with precise placement on garments.
• Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and familiarity with Adobe Illustrator (preferred).
• Communication: Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication with team members.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Focus and Concentration: Ability to maintain focus and avoid errors in a fast-paced environment.

• Production Efficiency: Achieve 40 transfers per hour and 30 name/number applications per hour.
