Program Manager Job Description
- Duration: Short-term contract
- Work Arrangement: 100% Remote (Onshore candidates only)
- Schedule: Flexible, but must align with EST core hours

Primary Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the delivery of programs by ensuring the team drives commitments to completion on time and with quality.
- Champion agile methodologies throughout the development process and ensure adherence to the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- May act as a Scrum Master for 1-2 teams, ensuring appropriate ceremonies occur with valuable outcomes and driving continuous team improvement. Coach on agile practices within assigned programs.
- Ensure projects have a prioritized backlog, documented delivery plan, appropriate planning, and dependency identification.
- Own and manage communication plans across the program, ensuring transparency and buy-in on key decisions.
- Proactively remove impediments to ensure successful delivery of team commitments, driving issue resolution and risk mitigation.
- Coordinate for the successful delivery and release of projects.
- May participate in identifying needs for process improvements or creation.
Desired Competencies:
- In-depth knowledge of software development and adoption, ideally in Ed Tech.
- Agile program and project management experience preferred.
- Experience as a Scrum Master.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification is a plus.
- Self-motivated and well-organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure.
- Ability to work with a wide group of stakeholders in a positive and collaborative manner.
- Open communication style to foster efficient idea flow and build consensus across the project.
- Cross-disciplinary understanding of product management, software development, and quality assurance.
- Flexible and adaptable to tools and ways of working.
- Demonstrated skills in leadership, negotiation, conflict management, collaboration, organizational and critical thinking.

- Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence.
