Supports the business by recommending appropriate actions, strategies, and / or alternatives to meet business needs. Has responsibility for leading all aspects of Aetna pharmacy benefit implementation requirement processes and benefit set up issue resolution.
Leads a diverse team of colleagues to develop, execute and manage unique implementation strategies to support PERS Seeding, default plan review, and PERS quality. Has responsibility for ensuring the timeliness of plan set up and resolution of all benefit set up issues. Manages relationships across segments and multifunctional areas.
Fundamental Components :
- Develops and implements strategic business plan to achieve business goals.
- Proactively leads by setting strategic direction.
- Identifies gaps and recommends enhancements related to new and / or existing products, services and workflows based on broad view of the organization.
- Collaborates and partners with other functional managers, other business areas across / within segments or other business areas to ensure all workflow processes and interdependencies are identified and addressed.
- Influences change in order to improve performance results, organization effectiveness and / or systems / quality / services.
- Responsible for development and implementation of new ideas that supports work / team.
- Provides oversight of team responsibilities to ensure timelines and expectations are met.
- Management of staff accountabilities :
- Manages all work related to plan set up turnaround time and resolving pharmacy benefit plan set up issues, including efficient resolution of command center issues during open enrollment periods.
- Oversees automated process and associated tasks which ensure RxIDs are correctly coded in PE / RS.
- Accountable for ensuring timely implementation of benefit plans to minimize use of default plan.
- Leads team responsible for the ensuring the overall quality of the pharmacy benefit coding setup in PERS / CCI for the middle market segment.
- Ensures that all team members are adequately trained and manages workload expectations to ensure staffing assignments are distributed to be successful.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is :
Minimum : 75,400
Maximum : 158,300
Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.
