About the Opportunity
South Shore University Hospital, part of Northwell Health, is seeking a Full-time Academic Trauma Medical Director/Acute Care Surgeon to join their faculty. This exciting opportunity will allow the successful candidate to work with a team of five other attendings in the Division of Acute Care Surgery.
The qualified candidate will rotate through the Surgical ICU and Acute Care Surgery services, managing a 10-bed Surgical Intensive Care Unit. The Division is actively involved in research at the basic science, translational, and clinical level, making it an ideal fit for those interested in academic medicine.
