Job Description
We are seeking experienced Acquisition Management support professionals to assist our US Navy client.
About the Role
- Apply business process knowledge and judgment to support various commands within the Department of Defense (DoD).
- Support hybrid work schedules, on-site meetings, and other in-person requirements based out of Crane, Indiana.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the government with establishing schedules and monitoring progress of procurement actions.
- Research and analysis of procurement issues.
- Data collection and implementation of regulatory and policy guidance.
- Daily program, analytical, and acquisition management support.
- Validating procurement forms for asset and OM&S accuracy.
- Validating government funding.
- Screening mandatory sources of supply.
- Data entry into Navy ERP.
Requirements
- Experience with Crane PR process and creation of PRs.
- Prior experience with Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and or Large Contract procurement is highly preferred.
- Acquisition experience within the DoD is required.
- Demonstrated experience with preparing, understanding, and presenting data.
- Strong computer and analytical skills.
- Proficient in Excel and other MS Office products.
- Ability to effectively manage time and work under firm deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-3 years professional experience in acquisition support.
- ~ 4 years' experience in acquisition management support may be substituted in lieu of degree.
Clearance Requirements
Candidates must be eligible for a US DoD Secret Clearance (requires US Citizenship). Candidates with a current Secret clearance are preferred.
