The Department of Biomedical Sciences
The Department of Biomedical Sciences has strengths in the areas of cardiovascular, neuroscience, and cancer research. About the Position
New York Institute of Technology's College of Osteopathic Medicine (NYITCOM), one of the largest single-campus medical schools in the U.S., is requesting applications for an Assistant/Associate Professor, Microbiology.
- Provide didactic lectures to first and second year medical students in a system-based curriculum.
- Facilitate small-group learning sessions in first and second academic years.
- Mentor medical students throughout their medical school training.
- Conduct bench or scholarly research and guide students in scholarly activity.
Requirements
We are seeking a candidate with:
- PhD with expertise in microbiology/immunology preferred.
- Post-doctoral training and/or teaching experience preferred.
