Job Description
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement all student organization operations, including officers' trainings, organization registration and re-registration, and event review and approval.
- Oversee the functions of Fraternity and Sorority Life, including chapter accreditation programs, expansion, and organizational operations.
- Assist with and manage a student recreation program using campus partners and local resources on the Long Island Campus.
- Support planning and day-of operations of the Office of Student Life.
- Develop Student Life-related projects that may include marketing, social media, student and staff training, programming, and development.
- Coordinate student spirit, history, and tradition initiatives in collaboration with students, staff, faculty, and external partners that support New York Tech's initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- A Master's degree in Higher Education Administration, College Student Personnel, Student Affairs or other closely related field is preferred.
- Experience leading in areas related to student leadership development, student involvement, or related fields is essential.
