Job Title: Assurance, Audit Supervisor
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assurance, Audit Supervisor to join our corporate audit team. This role will involve reporting to management teams and staff, preparing and planning budgets and engagements, coordinating and communicating with clients, and developing a command of audit techniques and methods.
About the Role:
- Perform and supervise audits under U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), U.S. Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS), and Public Company Oversight Board (PCAOB)
- Resolve intermediate to advanced audit, accounting, and client service issues
- Prepare time budgets on engagements and assist in the planning of audit or client engagements
- Prepare draft financial statements and audit complex areas such as debt, derivatives, and/or unusual transactions
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in public accounting, corporate accounting required
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting OR Bachelor's Degree plus requisite accounting coursework
- Knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, GAGAS, and other common audit methodologies
Work Environment:
This role will involve heavy sitting for extended periods in front of a computer. Overnight travel may be necessary.
