Job Title: Middle School Boys Assistant Soccer Coach
About the Position
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Middle School Boys Assistant Soccer Coach to join our team for the Fall 2025 season. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge and love for soccer, a commitment to sportsmanship and safety, and a passion for developing young athletes both on and off the field.
The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor at all times. As a representative of our school community, they must embody our values and convey a Christian perspective on athletics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Practice Planning and Execution: Plan and conduct daily practices between 3:00-7:00pm, focusing on skill development and team cohesion.
- Game Day Organization: Develop game plans, oversee their execution, and lead the team on game days.
- Team Management: Assist in developing rosters, providing guidance on team strategy, and ensuring effective team performance.
- Additional Duties: Willingness to drive the team van to practices and/or games as needed and perform other assigned tasks.
Requirements:
- A personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- A faith aligned with the values described on our school's website.
- The ability to communicate a Christian view of athletics.
- Knowledge and understanding of soccer skills and techniques.
- Experience in soccer playing and/or coaching, preferably at the high school, college, or professional level.
