Acadia Healthcare, a leading provider of behavioral healthcare services across the United States, is seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Medical Executive to lead our team. With over 250 facilities and approximately 11,100 beds in 39 states and Puerto Rico, we offer a comprehensive range of behavioral healthcare services.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare administration and clinical operations, with a minimum of three to five years of experience in senior leadership or CEO role in a behavioral health environment. A Master's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or related field is preferred.
In this key leadership position, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining a network of local constituency groups, appraising leadership team performance, assessing competencies, and providing coaching/corrective action as appropriate under the direction of the governing body. You will also oversee contract relationships with regular reporting on performance and new revenue generation, lead development of continuum of care to include comprehensive outpatient services and community-based programs, and serve as the final authority for resolution of staff performance concerns and performance improvement activities.
