About the Role
As a General Orthopedic Surgeon at Mayo Clinic Health System, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and promoting medical excellence. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive orthopedic care to patients, including surgical and non-surgical management of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive orthopedic care to patients, including surgical and non-surgical management of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer review activities
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Board-certified/Board-eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
- Eligible for medical licensure in Minnesota
- Medical staff will supervise advanced practice clinicians
- Medical staff may need to supply outreach services as part of their role in the system
- Teaching clinical staff, students, or residents is cornerstone to our Medical Education philosophy and an expectation of all medical staff
- Fellowship training in foot and ankle, sports medicine, or total joint replacement is welcome
