Role Purpose Statement
The Facility Supervisor at LSG Sky Chefs plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the facility's daily activities. This includes overseeing the maintenance, cleanliness, and safety of the facility, while ensuring that all operations are in compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
The supervisor will lead a team of maintenance and support staff, coordinating activities to ensure a high level of operational readiness, minimal downtime, and a safe working environment. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as a deep understanding of facility management principles in a high-paced, food service-driven environment.
The Facility Supervisor will also manage budgets and resources to maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness, while supporting the company's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and control staff to meet labor productivity and overtime targets.
- Ensure compliance with all government regulatory agencies standards.
- Leadership Guide, motivate and develop staff within the Human Resources policies.
- Make the company's values and management principles live in the department(s).
- Manage productivity hours and costs in the area of responsibility.
- Participate and support company sponsored initiatives such as Quality, HACCP, Lean Manufacturing, Employee Safety and Production systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent knowledge required.
- One to three years of related work experience required.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer applications.
