**Job Title:** Chief Credit Officer
We are seeking a seasoned professional to oversee credit administration, commercial lending origination, and commercial portfolio management at American Community Bank & Trust (ACBT). As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the bank's strategy and ensuring its financial stability.

As Chief Credit Officer, you will be responsible for approving loan requests within designated authority, providing overall support and direction to credit administration, and overseeing a quality loan portfolio that ensures proper risk management for the safety and soundness of the bank.
Key Responsibilities:
- Active participation in major areas of the bank, including strategic planning, budgeting, policy making, information technology, asset liability management, and personnel management
- Reviews, approves, or declines credit requests, making recommendations on large credits, loan structure, pricing, and loan portfolio composition
- Provides training, advice, and guidance to loan officers and credit administration department personnel
- Directs changes in loan policy and credit administration procedures to maintain compliance with regulatory state and federal laws
- Oversight of monthly/periodic reporting, including loan quality trends, growth indicators, concentrations of loan products, problem credit reviews, allowance for loss reserves, and board reporting
- Develops and maintains knowledge of the financial industry, economy, market conditions, market rates, and competition
We require a Bachelor's degree in business or banking, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Specialized training in lending and credit analysis is essential, along with experience in managing direct reports and creating and analyzing credit presentations, business correspondence, loan policies, and procedures.
