Job Overview
IFG - Pittsburgh is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial activities of the corporation. The CFO will be responsible for directing and overseeing financial operations, preparing current financial reports and summaries, and creating forecasts.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct the accounting department to produce monthly financial reports and analysis, budgeting and forecasting, and ensure a successful audit.
- Prepare all financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, shareholder reports, tax returns, and governmental agency reports.
- Review planning processes and suggest improvements to current methods.
- Analyze operations to identify areas in need of reorganization, downsizing, or elimination.
- Work with senior management to develop proposal budgets, provide access to project finance information, and manage contract/grant compliance and reporting.
- Perform risk management through analysis of company liabilities and investments, and evaluate and manage capital structure and fundraising initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance required.
- MBA and/or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation highly desired.
- Eight plus years of experience in financial and accounting leadership required.
- Banking and/or Financial Services experience required.
- Advanced Excel skills.
