Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a multi-year technology plan that aligns with the district's educational goals and operational needs
- Collaborate with administrators, staff, and the Technology Committee to forecast future technology requirements and ensure scalability
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of local and wide area networks (LAN/WAN), ensuring optimal performance and security
- Serve as the primary technical expert for the firewall, VMware infrastructure, networking equipment, and server farm
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Supervision, Administration, IT-related field (e.g., Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering) and/or industry-related certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, MCSE, CISSP)
- Minimum of two years of experience with networked information systems in an educational or professional environment
- Strong knowledge of local and wide area networks, network security, and telecommunications systems
