Job Overview
The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) is seeking a talented Solutions Architect to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance, scalable, and resilient decision support systems.
You will collaborate with internal and external partners to understand and translate requirements into deployable solutions. Your expertise will be valuable in evaluating and recommending appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools for analytic and decision support applications.
As a Solutions Architect, you will provide technical leadership on project teams from a systems perspective. This includes conducting architectural reviews and broader risk assessments for existing and developing systems.
To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or other technical field. You must have at least 5 years of experience managing teams and projects developing technical enterprise solutions for business process improvement.
Apart from that, you should have knowledge of data and/or microservices architectures. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills are required for this position. You must also be able to obtain a Secret level security clearance.
