We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Engineer to join our team at Edgewater Technical Associates. As a key member of our Azure team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automated security policies in Azure using tools such as Azure Policy, Blueprints, and Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.
In this role, you will work closely with DevOps, Cloud Architects, Security teams, and other stakeholders to establish and enforce guardrails that prevent misconfigurations, mitigate risks, and promote best practices for cloud-native applications. Your experience with hands-on securing Azure Landing Zones and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar programs is highly desirable.
You will have the opportunity to prioritize platform automation over manual processes to reduce the risk of human error, improve efficiency, and ensure consistent application. Additionally, you will leverage tools such as Azure Cost Management and Azure Advisor to implement cost optimization strategies.
