Job Description:
Janssen R&D, LLC is recruiting for an Established Products Oncology and Artificial Intelligence co-op, located in Titusville, NJ. Established Products (EP) is a functional area within the Office of Chief Medical Officer responsible for late lifecycle management and optimization of products across various therapeutic areas, including oncology, immunology, and neuroscience.
The EP Oncology and Artificial Intelligence co-op position supports the Oncology Portfolio and Compound Development Teams, maximizing the value of the portfolio through clinical development programs. This role provides active medical and scientific contribution to cross-functional clinical teams, supporting successful completion of clinical projects and deliverables that enable worldwide registrations for new indications, label enhancements, and regulatory commitments.
This co-op also participates in the EP-AI project, automating literature search, analysis, and reporting writing using the latest AI technologies, such as large language models.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with Clinical Leaders and Compound Development Teams on execution of specific tasks and projects in oncology related to clinical studies and strategic activities.
- Collaborate with Clinical Leaders on clinical trial concept and protocol development, execute clinical studies for post-approval commitments and new indications.
- Contribute to creation of Clinical Study Reports, publication of clinical research findings, and presentations to Health Authorities, advisory committees, and review meetings.
- Participate in the EP-AI project by evaluating related technologies and contributing to progress.
Qualifications
Education:
Pursuing a bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science and/or biological sciences related fields from an accredited college/university.
Experience and Skills:
- Passionate about science & operational excellence.
- Knowledge and experience in AI, especially in large language models.
- Strong problem-solving skills for developing innovative solutions and meeting project objectives.
- Demonstrated ability of critical thinking and prioritization with respect to project objectives.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple tasks with a strong sense of urgency.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other commonly used software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated leadership experience.
- Additional technical proficiencies in SharePoint and other information technology systems, including experience with PubMed, EMBASE, and other literature databases.
- Minimum GPA of 3.7.

- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Daily commute to Titusville Campus expected.
- Availability to work Full Time and for the total duration of the role (up to 6 months) preferred.
