We are looking for an experienced Compliance Lawyer to join our team in the United States. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expertise in US trade compliance laws and regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expertise in US trade compliance laws and regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) regulations.
- Oversee the design and implementation of the US trade compliance program, including restricted and end-use/user screening, export jurisdiction and classification determination, authorization analysis and management, recordkeeping, and procedures and work instructions.
- Identify compliance risks and manage the life cycle of complex cross-functional compliance programs.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to identify program and regulatory developments and provide updates to management regarding compliance initiatives impacting company business.
- Report all potential compliance concerns consistent with company requirements and assist with internal investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation, as required.
Requirements:
- A law degree.
- 5-10 years of professional experience working with international trade law, including the export controls programs required by BIS, OFAC, and other US agencies.
- Flexible within the United States, preferably on east coast time.
