Machining I Job Description

Location: Corinth, MS Facility

We are seeking a Machining I to join our fast-paced, safety-focused environment. The ideal candidate will perform quality checks based on standard work requirements, load and unload parts, and operate heavy equipment, including reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, overhead cranes, and electric pallet jacks.

The role may also involve operating CNC controls/programs, automated packaging equipment, checking incoming material, and entering data. Additionally, the candidate may be required to cross-train in other Salary Grade 2 positions.

Responsibilities:

• Perform quality checks based on standard work requirements
• Loading and unloading parts
• Operating heavy equipment, including reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, overhead cranes, and electric pallet jacks
• Operating CNC controls/programs
• Operating automated packaging equipment
• Checking incoming material and entering data
• Cross-training in other Salary Grade 2 positions

Requirements:

• Basic computer experience (ability to read standard work documents and enter data)
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications, such as Word and Excel
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and lift/push/pull heavy parts up to 30 lbs multiple times per shift
• Ability to stand for up to 10 hours per shift
