Key Responsibilities
- Support Army Sustainment analysis and analytics by producing algorithms and business process recommendations
- Engage with senior government officials, deliver briefings, and attend meetings and training sessions
- Analyze and interpret data from various systems, including Army systems
- Develop comprehensive solutions and incorporate capability solutions into software and workflows
- Report on site in Rock Island, IL, as required
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
- At least 1 year of experience working directly on a data science team
- Experience working with object-oriented programming languages (Python, Java)
- Experience using computational analysis tools (R, MATLAB) and associated data science libraries (scikit-learn)
- Ability to develop machine learning, data mining, statistical network, natural language processing, text analytics, and graph-based algorithms
- Familiarity with defense analytics software and platforms, such as Palantir and Vantage
