Job Description
The Dietary Worker provides patient support via phone and software systems, serving as a liaison to other departments regarding patient meal services. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Work in a fast-paced call center environment where every call is recorded and assessed to maintain performance levels.
- Maintain a friendly, efficient customer service demeanor toward patients, clients, and colleagues.
- Be adaptable to meet customer needs.
- Answer patient calls, take menu orders, and direct calls related to meal or nutritional needs.
- Use software to record patient orders.
- Maintain knowledge of therapeutic diets to ensure accurate meal orders.
- Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and the Food & Nutrition team to ensure accurate patient nutrition.
- Protect patient privacy, safety, and dignity by adhering to confidentiality and safety standards.
- Comply with ARAMARK's standards of operation and adhere to its Business Conduct Policy at all times.

Requirements
- Prior customer service or call center experience is preferred.
- Experience in food service or a related field is preferred.

- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Comfort using technology, including web-based software, keyboard, and telephone headset, with typical typing speeds of 35-45 wpm.
- Flexibility and adaptability are essential for this role.
