Job Title: Chief Information Officer
Description: We are seeking an experienced IT leader to join our team as Chief Information Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our Information Technology and Project Management Team, aligning people, process, and technology with the credit union's current and future strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of IT strategies and capabilities across the organization.
- Provide oversight and direction to IT and business leaders on strategy, standards, and opportunities for shared services and economies of scale.
- Directly supervise the IT infrastructure, systems, and applications to ensure effective support of operational needs and member services.
- Maintain oversight of all IT projects, ensuring proper planning, staffing, monitoring, and reporting.
- Establish and enforce IT policies, processes, and methodologies to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Hire, develop, evaluate, reward, and retain a highly qualified team of IT professionals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required.
- Eight to ten years of similar or related experience in a significant company-wide IT strategy and operation management role required.
- Comprehensive knowledge of evolving technologies in the financial industry.
- A good understanding of the credit union industry.
- The ability to motivate or influence others is a material part of the job, requiring a significant level of diplomacy and trust.
