Job Title: Director – Leasing
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Director of Leasing to join our 360 Sales Team. This is a unique opportunity to impact the future of real estate by developing innovative and engaging places that reinvent being together.
About the Role:
- Reporting to the VP – Leasing, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and managing existing client needs to secure a high percentage of renewal business.
- You will own the deal flow process with tenants, including legal leasing, retail delivery, and center management.
- Developing deep and comprehensive market understanding and competitive analysis will be key to your success in this role.
- Favorably negotiating and executing leases with retailers, creating and executing a center-specific merchandising strategy, and maintaining financial budget and forecast reports are all essential responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive revenue growth that aligns with the overall company and asset strategy.
- Manage existing client needs and lead the growth to secure a high percentage of renewal business.
- Own the deal flow process with tenants, legal leasing, retail delivery, retail design management, and center management.
- Develop deep and comprehensive market understanding and competitive analysis.
- Confidently promote the advantages Westfield can offer a brand as an owner and operator of our assets.
- Favorably negotiate and execute leases with retailers.
- Create, execute, and own a center-specific merchandising strategy.
- Maintain financial budget and forecast reports.
- Effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks under tight deadlines.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5-7 years' experience in a high-volume sales, leasing, or retail sales industry.
- Experience in building and growing a book of business.
- Computer skills include Excel, Power Point, Adobe Acrobat and Salesforce.
