About the Position
We are seeking a highly experienced Director of Finance Operations to join our team at HEI Hotels and Resorts. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities of one of our upscale hotels in Connecticut, safeguarding the assets, and preparing all financial reports in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and HEI Hotels and Resorts Standards.
Responsibilities
- Financial Oversight: Supervise and direct the financial activities of one of our upscale hotels in Connecticut.
- Asset Protection: Safeguard the assets of the hotel.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare all financial reports in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and HEI Hotels and Resorts Standards.
- Leadership: Actively participate in Executive Committee and staff meetings, and lead cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
Requirements
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Hotel Management.
- Experience: 5 years experience in Hotel or Hospitality related Finance and Accounting.
- Skills: Strong leadership and management skills; analytical approach to problems, regard for detail and accuracy; assertive personality, professional demeanor; effective verbal and written communication skills.
