Job Title: Director of Health Promotion
The Division of Student Life at Tufts University seeks a collaborative and innovative leader to serve as the Director of Health Promotion. Reporting to the Executive Director of Health & Wellness, this key position will oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive health promotion initiatives for graduate and undergraduate students on both campuses.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement evidence-informed health promotion strategies, policies, programs, and services tailored to campus needs and priorities.
- Cultivate partnerships with key stakeholders on and off campus to advance a multidisciplinary approach to health and well-being.
- Practice cultural responsiveness and incorporate social justice concepts into health promotion efforts.
- Serve as a member of the Health & Wellness leadership team and contribute to the university's commitment to promoting student well-being.
- Manage operating budgets under Health Promotion and collaborate with colleagues across departments to drive policy, program, and initiative success.
- Design and deliver engaging health information through various formats, including presentations, workshops, online modules, and interactive sessions.
- Promote health literacy and social marketing strategies to foster well-being and engagement in health promotion programs.
What We're Looking For:
- A master's degree in public health, health promotion, health education, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least five years of progressive responsibility in health promotion or a related field, preferably in higher education.
- Experience with qualitative and/or quantitative needs assessments and program planning and evaluation.
- Demonstrated expertise in addressing issues impacting young adult populations, including sexual health, substance use, gender identity and expression, disordered eating, and mental health and distress.
- Proven ability to supervise teams and individuals, with a focus on mentorship and staff development.
- Familiarity with liberatory practices in health, such as Health at Every Size, healing justice, restorative practices, etc., is a plus.
