Job Description
The Infection Prevention Program Director will be responsible for leading our Infection Prevention Department to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
This role involves developing and implementing programs, policies, and procedures to address infection prevention needs across our organization.
The successful candidate will collaborate with Hospital Administration to develop and manage an Infection Prevention Program, providing expert consultation and education as needed.
Responsibilities
- Lead Infection Prevention Department operations
- Develop and implement programs, policies, and procedures
- Collaborate with Hospital Administration to develop and manage Infection Prevention Program
- Provide expert consultation and education on infection prevention topics
Requirements
- Graduation from accredited school of nursing or clinical laboratory sciences program
- Bachelor's degree in Science (Microbiology, Biology, Nursing, Public Health)
- Board certification in Infection Prevention and Control within 6 months of hire
- Experience with NHSN database/submission, Centuri 7, MedHost, and Microsoft Office
- Active membership in APIC (Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology)
