**About the Role**
The Associate Director of Grants, Sponsored Research, and Strategic Initiatives will play a critical role in supporting Stetson University's research mission by facilitating the preparation and submission of grant proposals. This position will work closely with faculty, staff, and institutional leadership to identify funding opportunities and develop strategic partnerships.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Serve as a pre-award contact for faculty, staff, and sponsors, providing expert counsel and guidance on proposal development and submission.
- Develop budgets and prepare forms for government agencies and private foundations.
- Provide technical advice on administrative and financial aspects of proposals, including budget justification, subcontracting, and indirect cost rates.
- Track grant submissions and awards, collecting and analyzing data to inform future research initiatives.
**Requirements**
- Master's degree and 3 years of relevant experience or 5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree.
- Up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and local programs and guidelines.
- Project or proposal management experience with strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
