Director of Operations
Leverage operational excellence to drive business objectives and client satisfaction as the Director of Operations at LSG Sky Chefs.
Job Summary
Oversee daily operations, optimize food production and catering services, and lead a team of managers and staff in achieving exceptional culinary experiences and outstanding service to airline partners across North and Latin America.
Main Responsibilities
Execute strategic planning, data-driven decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless execution of operations. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and sustainability while maintaining compliance with industry regulations and internal standards.
Key Accountabilities
- Implement CSC planning and ensure compliance with policies provided by CSC and Corporate.
- Develop and manage annual business plans and budgets for the CSC, overseeing economic and operating performance.
- Ensure optimal deployment of human, technical, and material resources in the CSC.
- Maintain compliance with safety, health, environmental, and quality guidelines provided by Corporate and local regulations, as well as customer requirements.
- Guide, motivate, and develop subordinate employees within the Human Resources Policy.
- Participate in coaching the Global Performance System (GPS) process and additional career development activities to enhance team effectiveness and potential.
- Elevate company values and management principles within the department(s).
- Support company-sponsored initiatives such as Global Quality Standard (GQS), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), Lean Manufacturing, Employee Safety, and other related programs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
- Five to seven years of experience in a related field required.
- Experience in managing multiple departments.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer applications.
