The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our warehouse, including managing budgets, capital expenditures, and space utilization. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Manage budgets, capital expenditures, and space utilization to meet corporate targets while driving operational efficiency. Analyze warehouse activities and costs, implement process improvements, and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Labor to Revenue (LTR), truck turn times, and customer service standards. Lead initiatives to maintain food safety, employee health and safety, and compliance with all regulatory standards.
Requirements
5 years of experience in operations management, with specific expertise in foodservice warehouse environments. Familiarity with quality processes like Six Sigma and/or LEAN. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Ability to work in varying temperatures (-20°F to 100°F) and noise levels, wearing company-provided protective equipment.
