We're seeking an Enterprise Data Architect to join our team at Utica National Insurance Group. As a key member of our IT department, you'll play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our database solutions to support business processes and drive operational efficiency.
Some of your key responsibilities will include analyzing structural requirements for new software and applications, migrating data from legacy systems, designing conceptual and logical data models, conducting tests and troubleshooting, defining security and backup procedures, coordinating with the Data Science team, and providing peer reviews, mentoring, and support to the software development team.
To be successful in this role, you'll need a bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, or a related field, as well as 4-7 years of experience with P&C Insurance software applications. Strong SQL and relational database design skills are also essential, along with familiarity with business intelligence, ETL tools, and experience with Oracle PL/SQL or T-SQL.
