Description of the Job
This position requires a highly skilled and experienced Evidence-Based Practices Specialist to supervise and oversee continuous quality improvement for correctional facility case managers and general population programming. The successful candidate will ensure access to evidence-based interventions necessary to achieve goals during incarceration.
Key Functions:
- Supervise and oversee continuous quality improvement for correctional facility case managers and general population programming
- Ensure access to evidence-based interventions necessary to achieve goals during incarceration
- Direct contact with incarcerated individuals at the Minnesota Correctional Facility - Stillwater
Requirements:
- Four years of experience with clients from a diverse background in the fields of corrections, social work, social services, education, chemical dependency, mental health, residential treatment, or related field
- Bachelor's degree may substitute for one year of experience; Leadership experience can include experience as a supervisor, lead worker, team lead, project lead, or completion of a State of Minnesota leadership program
- Knowledge of human resources principles, procedures, and systems sufficient to manage and maintain a harmonious labor relations environment in accordance with collective bargaining and affirmative action/equal opportunity policies
