The Opportunity
This is a rare opportunity to make a real impact as the strategic leader of our HR Department. You will be responsible for overseeing our team of dedicated HR staff, working collaboratively with Department Managers across all sites, and joining our Executive Leadership Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee Human Resource policies, procedures, practices, and staff
- Recruitment and Onboarding of employees
- Management of Applicant Tracking System
- Employee safety (recordkeeping, claim management, and committee participation)
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience in Human Resources, preferably in a leadership role
- Proficient in the use of email, word processing, spreadsheets, database, and presentation software and use of the internet
- In-depth knowledge of Federal, State, and local employment laws
Preferred Qualifications
- Broad knowledge of group insurance plans, retirement plans, compensation, and benefits administration
- Broad knowledge of marketing with a commitment to work collaboratively with the Executive Director of Marketing/PR
- Demonstrated organizational skills in handling, directing, and prioritizing multiple and complex assignments/projects and maintaining records
