Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning and Governance
You will be responsible for the operations of the organization while promoting engagement and open communication with the Board of Directors. This includes creating formal business plans and capital project budgets in collaboration with the Board of Directors and Chief Operating Officer. You will also communicate effectively with the Board and senior management, providing key data on fund development and financial matters supporting operational and strategic decisions.
In addition, you will provide analysis and reports to the Board on camp operations, fund development, and financial performance impacting strategic and capital plan targets and goals. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying and cultivating relationships with current and potential donors while fostering expanded facility utilization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in business, marketing, fundraising, or finance
- Ten or more years of experience in senior management with a non-profit organization; experience with Christian camping highly valued
- Proven organizational leadership and management abilities for developing and implementing visionary strategy
- Excellent project management and communications skills with the ability to work across all functions and levels of an organization
