Job Description
This role plays a pivotal part in shaping GSK's procurement strategies for large molecule and vaccine drug substances. The successful candidate will lead a team of category managers focused on partnerships with Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) for drug substance.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for large molecule and vaccine drug substances manufactured externally.
- Lead complex contract negotiations with CMOs for commercial supply of drug substance.
- Deliver contracts that emphasize value creation, critical terms, and effective cost control.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in sourcing commercial supply of externally manufactured drug substance. A Bachelor's degree in supply chain, procurement or a relevant technical field is required.
