Overview
United Health Services is seeking a Family Medicine physician for a clinic on the campus of a critical-access hospital in beautiful Walton, New York.

Hours per week: 40
Salary range: Depends on Experience
This traditional inpatient/outpatient practice is set in a friendly town where your patients are your neighbors. A strong sense of community is fostered and treasured.
The primary care practice consists of family medicine physicians, advance practice providers, and psychiatric nurse practitioners. Multiple outpatient specialties available on-site. The practice is located adjacent to the hospital — a 25-bed medical and short-term rehab unit, with a 24/7 Emergency Department.
Ancillary services available on site include lab, cardiopulmonary, and imaging services. Both inpatient and outpatient PT, OT, speech, cardiac, and pulmonary rehab. On-site outpatient pharmacy.
Call: One week approximately every two months for the primary care practice only. Competitive salary guaranteed and full benefits, CME stipend, vacation, and paid occurrence-based malpractice.
Must be board eligible or certified. Accepting J1 and H1B candidates.
Key Responsibilities and Expectations
Teaching opportunities are available with the UHS Family Practice and Internal Medicine residents, Endocrinology, Geriatrics, and Sports Medicine fellows, transitional year students, as well as 3rd and 4th year medical students on rotation from Upstate Medical University.
