Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be a strategic partner to the CEO and executive team, providing financial leadership, oversight, and operational engagement across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Planning and Strategy: Develop and execute financial strategies that align with the company's short- and long-term business goals.
- Advisory Role: Serve as a key advisor to the CEO and executive leadership team on financial performance, investments, and operational initiatives.
- Contract Management: Manage and monitor contracts/legal agreements, including project proposals and delivery, negotiations with customers and third-party purchasing negotiations.
Financial Planning and Budgeting
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and overall financial planning processes with a focus on project-based budgets.
- Project Budget Monitoring: Monitor project budgets with a focus on maximizing financial performance.
- Cash Flow Management: Oversee cash flow management, financial risk assessment, tax planning and strategy.
Requirements
- Leadership Experience: 10 years of financial leadership experience, preferably within the software, technology, or SaaS industries.
- Expertise: Strong expertise in project-based accounting and financial planning for dynamic, growth-oriented companies.
- Contract Management: Strong experience in managing and monitoring contracts/legal agreements, including project proposals and delivery, negotiations with customers and third-party purchasing negotiations.
This position requires a deep understanding of operational finance, with a track record of being hands-on and engaged with business operations. The ideal candidate should also have experience in corporate finance and cash flow modeling/management, as well as knowledge of financial compliance, accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS), and tax regulations.
