CFO Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes
- Lead the annual audit
- Contribute to the overall financial health of the organization
- Oversee operational and general accounting/financial functions for Homebuilding Divisions and Subsidiaries
Key Accountabilities
- Take responsibility for all cash management, investments, insurance, budgeting, and financial reporting
- Comply with national and local financial requirements by studying existing and new legislation
- Research revenue opportunities and economic trends, analyze internal operations, and identify areas for cost reduction and process enhancement
- Perform risk management through analysis of company liabilities and investments
- Monitor business performance with tracking tools, establish corrective measures as needed, and prepare detailed reports for the Executive Team
- Manage accounting personnel and oversee financial systems, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory entities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and audit processes
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and operational efficiency
