**Job Description**
We are seeking an experienced Accounting/Payroll Technician to join our team at Global. In this role, you will assist the Budget Analyst with audits and prepare financial reports.
Your responsibilities will include performing audits, preparing timecards for employees, and making time-keeping entries for payroll preparation. You will also verify approved PTO and overtime requests, prepare bi-weekly payroll for submission to the Corporate Finance Office, and notify the Project Manager and HR/Administrative Assistant of employee absences or tardiness daily.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Associate Degree in Accounting or Business Administration
- Three (3) years of related experience OR five (5) years of related experience
- Proficiency in Excel and operating a personal computer
- General computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
